New Medical Manufacturing Center
After passing its ISO 13485 certification audit, EPTAM Plastics announces the completion of its Medical Manufacturing Center. This dedicated 5,000 sq. ft. area offers a superior clean manufacturing environment designed exclusively for the machining and control of medical grade polymers. Materials such as Acetals, Proplylux HT, Radel, Ultem, Torlon, Polysulfone, PEEK and Carbon Filled PEEK are machined from stock shapes into both simple and complex geometries for instruments. Implantable grade polymers such as UHMW-PE and PEEK are also machined here.
Coinciding with the completion of Medical Manufacturing Center, EPTAM Plastics received two additional Okuma MC-V4020 5-Axis milling centers. EPTAM’s ongoing investment strategy supports our customer’s growing needs and their expectation for cost-effectively manufacturing the highest quality components.
